Honorarium: Based on nature of assignment

SUMMARY

To produce short radio features on issues impacting women's lives in Pakistan for the syndicated Meri Awaz Suno radio program

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be assigned)

•  To produce short or long form radio features in Urdu, Sindhi, Balochi, Pashto Punjabi or Kashmir language.

•  To conduct interviews or panel discussions for Meri Awaz Suno.

•  To submit story ideas.

•  To coordinate with Executive Producer on feature production.

•  To travel when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Knowledge of audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, CoolEditPro, etc

•  Higher education (preferably journalism, the humanities or education)

•  Familiar with Microsoft Word software.

•  Ability to write letters and edits copy.

•  Experience with email correspondence and Internet research.
