Honorarium: Will cover travel and small costs

SUMMARY

To act as researchers on issues relevant to women's lives and assist Meri Awaz Suno producers in production of the syndicated radio program aimed at raising the profile in the media.

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES (others may be assigned)

• To research on current issues impacting women's lives
• To assist Meri Awaz Suno producers with program production
• To attend all editorial meetings.
• To learn to generate story ideas.
• To maintain the Meri Awaz Suno contact book and diary.
• To maintain archives of programs produced.
• To travel when required.
• To learn to use audio editing software
• To learn to produce radio information packages

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Higher education (preferably journalism, the humanities or education)

•  Knowledge of English sufficient for maintaining correspondence regarding questions of organization of seminars and explaining things to trainers.

•  Familiar with Microsoft Word software.

•  Experience with email correspondence and Internet research.
